The Municipality is currently in the process of replacing the old asbestos water pipeline in
Charmaine Street in Lowryville that has exceeded its lifespan. Pipe bursting incidents have
increased at different sections of the line along the road, causing frequent water service
interruptions to the community.
The water supply from the municipality will be interrupted from Monday, 20 May 2024 from
08h00 - 17h00 daily until Friday, 31 May 2024.
